For Associates

The resources of this website are for your benefit too, even if you do not yet qualify to be a part of the Officer's Club. Just as much as Associates benefit from their IIB Regional Groups, executive officers of regional groups benefit from working together, and sharing ideas and support. They are there to help you, collectively we are here to help you.
Your regional group executive, are:
- Busy business people who have to juggle their time and prioritise
- Running practices
- Dealing with the unenviable challenge of developing and maintaining a stimulating group, made up of independent practitioners who are all senior business people. Now that really is a challenge!
The benefits of being involved in your regional group are many. These are just a few:
- You develop a closer relationship and understanding of those peers with whom you are most likely to work with (in a geographical sense).
- Some Associates are not so good at promoting themselves and their skills to their peers. By networking with them you can discover how they can help you and your clients. Those lacking presentation skills can get help and support.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is not just interesting and stimulating, it is essential to stay at the top, and to be well informed. You cannot afford to be seen as out of touch by clients, or your fellow advisors.
- Successful advisors sharing their successes and opportunities, stimulate ideas for the benefit of all.
- And when, in those rare occasions that something goes wrong, and you have a complaint about the professional conduct of another advisor, your regional group is there to help. It can offer confidential dispute resolution, or assist you in filing an official complaint.
Please support your Regional Group, it exists for your benefit! If you feel you are too new to become involved in helping others, remember that well-established Associates are also heavily involved in the management of businesses, companies, and clients, and give their valuable time for your benefit, and welcome fresh ideas.
