
The Regional Groups referred to here are groups of business leaders who have been accredited by the Institute for Independent Business, working together in geographic regions. Members have regular contact and frequent interaction. This is primarily the regional group meetings (usually held monthly), although members often collaborate on each others' clients. Business-to-Business opportunities (often client services of interest to others) are also often circulated on a day-to-day basis.
Regional Group members benefit from the camaraderie, and working together to achieve their Regional Group aims. The role and purpose of an IIB Regional Group is essentially about Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and support of Associates. As business advisors and coaches, and practitioners, not only must we serve the needs of our clients, we must also look after ourselves and our own businesses!
